Robinhood Refer a Friend Offer Summary
About Robinhood
Robinhood UK offers commission-free US stocks, fractional shares from $1, and a UK ISA. No platform fee; FX charge applies on US trades.
Refer a Friend Bonus
Existing Robinhood UK customers can refer friends and earn a free US stock worth $7-$175 per successful referral, capped at $1,500 in stock per year.
Your friend must be a UK resident who's never held a Robinhood UK account. They need to sign up via your link, link a UK bank and complete a deposit within 14 days of signing up. The Stocks & Shares ISA isn't eligible; the friend must open the standard brokerage account.
Both rewards are credited about a week after the stock is claimed. The friend has 60 days to claim before the reward expires.
Referrer reward: $7 - $175
Referee reward: $7 - $175
How it typically works
Step 1
Find a friend with a Robinhood UK brokerage account (the ISA doesn't qualify for the RAF)
Step 2
Ask them for their unique referral link
Step 3
Sign up via the link and open a Robinhood UK brokerage account (not the Stocks & Shares ISA)
Step 4
Link a UK bank account and complete a deposit within 14 days of signing up
Step 5
Pick your reward stock from a list of leading US companies within 60 days (otherwise it expires)
Step 6
The stock is credited to your account around 1 week after you claim it
Worth knowing

- 60 days to claim the reward, then it expires; 30-day cash-withdrawal lock after claiming
- Up to $1,500 in stock per year per referrer
- US shares require a W-8BEN form and any gains outside an ISA are taxable in the UK

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Scrimpr does not host or share referral links for Robinhood. UK financial promotion rules and platform terms restrict the public sharing of personal referral links for regulated investing platforms, so even if we had one we couldn't put it on this page. To use the offer you'll need a referral link from someone who already has an Robinhood account — ask a friend, family member or colleague.
You'll need to find someone who already has an Robinhood account and ask them to share their unique referral link with you. Existing customers can usually find it inside their app or online portal under a "refer a friend" or "recommend a friend" section.
Yes. Robinhood is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with reference number 823590. You can verify this on the FCA Register. As with any investment, your capital is at risk.
No. This page has no affiliate or referral links. We list the offer because it's a useful UK investing perk to know about, but Scrimpr earns nothing if you go on to sign up.
The usual ones: you'll typically need to meet a minimum deposit or transfer amount, hold the funds for a qualifying period, and be a genuinely new customer. Some platforms pay the reward as a gift card rather than cash. Read the "Worth knowing" and "Things to consider" sections above before going ahead, and always check the platform's current terms.
