About this tool

What Scrimpr Does

You can save money on your shopping by buying gift cards with cashback. Some providers discount the gift card upfront, others add cashback to your app balance. Either way, Scrimpr compares them all to find you the biggest saving.

How It Works

  1. Search for the retailer above — Scrimpr shows you which provider has the best gift card cashback
  2. Sign up to that provider (free) and buy a gift card for the amount you need
  3. Receive the gift card instantly via email
  4. Use it in-store or online — your saving is either discounted upfront or added to your balance

Unlike traditional cashback, gift card cashback is simpler — there's no tracking to worry about. You buy the gift card directly through the provider's app and the saving is applied straight away.

What does “Stackable” mean?

This retailer accepts gift cards online — so you can stack multiple cashback sources on the same purchase:

  1. Buy a gift card with cashback (the rate shown on the card).
  2. Use that gift card to pay at the retailer's online checkout.
  3. Earn additional cashback on the same checkout via a regular cashback site (TopCashback, Quidco, etc.) or browser extension.

Result: cashback on top of cashback. The two rates combine, so a 5% gift card discount plus 3% checkout cashback nets you roughly 8% off.
