SIMs that count for a Santander switch

Santander’s current-account switch bonus needs at least two active Direct Debits from their approved list — and a cheap no-contract SIM is an easy way to add one. The catch: most budget SIMs are billed by card auto-renew, not Direct Debit, so they’re on Santander’s list but wouldn’t count (Lebara and Lycamobile, and card-billed rolling SIMs like ASDA’s). Two here bill by Direct Debit and start around £6/month on a rolling plan: Talkmobile and iD Mobile. Set up two (they count as two Direct Debits) and you’re there.
