About Avios
Avios is the rewards currency used by British Airways and other airlines in the IAG group, including Iberia, Aer Lingus, and Vueling. You can collect Avios points through flights, hotel stays, car hire, shopping, and everyday spending with partner retailers. Points can be redeemed for flight rewards, cabin upgrades, hotel stays, car hire, or spent with shopping partners.
Sign Up Points Details
First-time users of the Avios App can earn 500 bonus Avios points by signing up through a friend's referral link and completing a qualifying activity. The easiest ways to unlock your bonus are to shop online through the Avios eStore cashback portal or make an in-store purchase with a linked payment card.
To qualify, download the Avios App using a referral link, create your account, and complete one of the eligible activities. Note that travel purchases do not count towards the bonus, with the exception of Uber bookings. Regular flights, hotel bookings, and car hire through the app will not trigger the signup bonus. Once you've completed a qualifying activity, your 500 bonus Avios will be credited to your account. These points can be used towards flights, upgrades, or redeemed with shopping partners.

Refer friends to the Avios App and you'll both earn 500 bonus Avios points. Share your unique referral link with friends who haven't used the Avios App before. They must sign up using your referral link to be eligible for the bonus.
Once your friend signs up through your link and completes a qualifying activity, you'll both receive 500 Avios. Qualifying activities include shopping through the Avios eStore cashback portal or making an in-store purchase with a linked payment card.
