Get the SIM for what you need.
Almost every UK network runs on one of the big three — EE, O2 and VodafoneThree — so the signal’s the same, the price and features aren’t. Pick the data and features you want, and it’ll rank the deals that fit by price.
I made this while researching my own SIM upgrade — it now updates itself automatically every morning.

Which network each brand runs on
Every provider here uses EE, Virgin Media O2 or VodafoneThree’s masts. Pick the coverage that works where you live, then the cheapest brand on it.

Common questions
What’s the cheapest SIM-only deal right now?
Big allowances (30GB+) start at £4.5 a month, and unlimited data from £14. The list at the top updates daily.
Do I need a contract?
No. Most of the deals here are monthly rolling or pay as you go, so you can leave whenever you like. Only the 12–24 month plans tie you in.
Rolling, pay monthly or pay as you go?
Pay monthly is a 12–24 month contract; rolling renews monthly; pay as you go you top up as you need. We label every deal.
What’s an eSIM?
A SIM built into your phone, with no plastic card. Many UK networks now offer their plans as an eSIM — they’re marked with an “eSIM available” note.
Can a SIM count for a bank-switch bonus?
Yes, if it’s billed by Direct Debit. Talkmobile and iD Mobile qualify; card-billed SIMs like Lebara don’t. See the SIMs you can pay by Direct Debit →

Compare dealsThis is an independent comparison, not a whole-of-market one — it covers the networks it is able to track easily, re-checked against their own sites every morning. Networks change deals often, so always confirm the details on the provider’s site before you buy. Links marked * are affiliate links that may earn me a commission at no cost to you; that never changes what you pay or how deals are ranked, which is by price.
