Utility Warehouse FAQ
What network does Utility Warehouse use?
Utility Warehouse is an MVNO: it runs on EE's masts, so you get the same signal and coverage as EE, usually at a lower price.
Can I use Utility Warehouse abroad in the EU?
Utility Warehouse includes EU roaming. EU roaming is included as standard on all SIM plans at no extra cost.
Does Utility Warehouse have 5G?
Yes — Utility Warehouse includes 5G on some plans. Essential Max (10GB) is 4G only; Unlimited Max includes 5G.
Does Utility Warehouse support eSIM?
Yes — Utility Warehouse supports eSIM on some plans. eSIM is available to existing UW Mobile customers only (switch from a physical SIM after 30 days) — not offered to new sign-ups.
Does Utility Warehouse put prices up mid-contract?
Utility Warehouse does not raise prices mid-contract. Sold as 30-day rolling only — no fixed contract term, so no mid-contract price rise applies.
Also using the EE network
You can get the same underlying coverage from 1p Mobile, BT Mobile, CMLink, CTExcel and Ecotalk, although prices, speeds, roaming and customer support differ. See the networks on EE →
