What is Scrimpr Cashback Compare?

Scrimpr Cashback Compare is my real-time comparison tool that helps you find the highest cashback rates across multiple platforms, including TopCashback, Quidco, Rakuten, and more. My tool updates daily, making sure that you always have access to the best cashback deals and offers.

With Cashback Compare, you can easily compare cashback offers, see which platform provides the best rates, and make more informed decisions about where to shop.

Key benefit: Instead of checking multiple cashback sites manually, my tool does the comparison for you and shows the highest rate available across all platforms in seconds.

How Does Cashback Compare Work?

Cashback Compare gathers data from multiple cashback platforms and compares their offers to show you the best possible deal. Here's how it works:

  • Daily Updates: Every day, I collect the latest cashback offers from platforms like TopCashback, Quidco, Rakuten, and others. This ensures you always see the most up-to-date information.
  • Real-Time Comparison: Once you search for a store, my tool will instantly compare the offers available across different cashback websites and display the best deal for you.
  • Easy-to-Use Interface: Simply enter the store name, and we'll show you the highest cashback rate available, whether it's a percentage or fixed amount.
  • Maximise Your Savings: By using Cashback Compare, you can quickly see where you can earn the most cashback, helping you save money with every purchase.

How is Cashback Data Collected and Updated?

At Scrimpr, I have a lot of tools for comparing cashback or online rewards platforms. I try my best to ensure the data you see is accurate and up-to-date. Here's how our process works:

My Data Collection Process

  • Data Collection: I made an automated system to fetch cashback data directly from popular cashback platforms like TopCashback, Quidco, and Rakuten. My system pulls new data daily, ensuring the offers are always fresh.
  • Data Comparison: The tool compares cashback rates for the same merchant across multiple platforms. If a higher cashback rate is available on Quidco compared to TopCashback, we'll display the best option for you.
  • Automatic Updates: It also refreshes every day with the latest cashback offers and ensures that the highest cashback rates are always prioritized in the results.
Accuracy note: While I work hard to keep everything current, cashback rates can change throughout the day. Always verify the rate on the cashback site before making your purchase.

What Types of Cashback Offers Are Compared?

Cashback Compare shows two main types of offers:

Percentage Cashback

Cashback is a percentage of your total spend. For example, 5% cashback on a £100 purchase means you get £5 back.

Fixed Cashback

A set amount of cashback for any purchase at a specific retailer. For example, £10 cashback on an Adidas purchase.

By comparing both types of cashback offers, Cashback Compare helps you find the most valuable deal for your shopping.

The Top Cashback Platforms I Compare

TopCashback

Offers one of the highest cashback rates in the UK and has a wide variety of retailers. No membership fees make it a popular choice for many shoppers.

Quidco

Known for exclusive offers and bonus cashback for new users, Quidco provides flexible payout options like PayPal, bank transfers, or gift cards.

Rakuten

Specializes in cashback for both online and in-store purchases. Rakuten offers additional discounts and cashback deals for many of its partner retailers.

Cashback.co.uk & Custard

These are UK sites that have fixed reward cashback deals for signing up and trying new services. You can get a £10 bonus for signing up to Cashback.co.uk here, and a £2 bonus for signing up to Custard.

Swagbucks

Offers cashback on shopping, and opportunities to earn money from taking surveys, watching videos, and more. Swagbucks provides flexible payout options like PayPal and gift cards and is known for bonus offers and loyalty rewards. Get a £10 Bonus when you sign up to Swagbucks here.

Cashback Tips to Maximise Your Savings

1. Use Multiple Cashback Sites

The first step to saving the most is comparing multiple cashback platforms. You can find a full list of UK cashback sites here. Each site offers different rates. That's why I made Cashback Compare – to see which platform gives you the highest cashback for any shop.

2. Combine Cashback with Discounts

Once you've found the highest cashback rate, look for discounts or coupon codes that can be stacked with your cashback. Some platforms allow you to combine both, giving you extra savings on top of the cashback rate. Even if they don't allow both, an instant discount is generally preferable to cashback in the future.

3. Double Dip with Gift Cards

Read my guide on Cashback Stacking. You can take your savings even further by using cashback apps that allow you to buy gift cards. Not only do you earn cashback for purchasing the gift card, but when you use it at the store, you earn cashback again. This strategy, known as double dipping, maximizes your cashback rewards. For more details on where you can earn cashback for buying giftcards, check out my guide and tool on Buying Gift Cards for Cashback.

Example: Use a cashback app like Jam Doughnut or Cheddar to purchase a gift card for your favorite shop. When you buy the card, you earn cashback, and when you use it to shop, you earn cashback again from the store.
Pro Tip: Some platforms, like Topcashback, offer special bonuses for buying gift cards, allowing you to earn extra cashback for this double-dipping strategy.
4. Scan Your Receipts for Extra Cashback

You can earn even more cashback by scanning receipts from purchases you've already made. Apps like the Amazon Shopper Panel, Clearpay, or Shopmium reward you for scanning your receipts. Pair this with your cashback sites for even more savings. Find out more about Receipt Scanning Apps for Extra Cashback.

Example: If you buy anything online, email your receipt to a receipt scanning app to get a cashback reward for the transaction. You can stack this with any cashback offers from your online purchase of the same items.
5. Use a Cashback Debit Card

To supercharge your savings, use a cashback debit card (or a cashback credit card if you have one of those). These cards give you cashback for every purchase you make. When you combine this with cashback sites, gift cards, and receipt scanning apps, you're earning from every angle. Some cards do prohibit giftcard transactions, so check out our guide on The Best Cashback Debit Cards for cashback purchases.

Example: Use your cashback debit card to purchase supermarket giftcards via a giftcard cashback app. Then use the giftcards to purchase your shopping online via one of the cashback sites listed in Scrimpr Cashback Compare. Then submit your receipt to receipt scanning apps. You will get cashback on 1) your debit card; 2) for purchasing the giftcard; 3) on your online cashback platform; and 4) your receipt scanning app! Four times the cashback!
6. Sign Up for Loyalty Programs

Many stores offer loyalty programs that reward their customers. When paired with cashback platforms, you can stack loyalty rewards with your cashback earnings.

Example: Boots or Tesco loyalty programs offer points that you can convert into vouchers. Combine this with cashback from TopCashback or Quidco for maximum savings.
7. Take Advantage of Referral Bonuses

Many cashback sites offer referral bonuses when you invite friends to join. This is an easy way to earn extra rewards.

Example: TopCashback and Quidco both offer £10 – £15 for each friend you refer who goes on to use the platform. Combine this with cashback earnings for even more savings!
8. Use Cashback on Everything

Don't limit yourself to just major purchases. Use cashback offers on everyday spending, from your morning coffee to paying for utilities or your internet service.

Example: You can earn cashback on buying petrol at Tesco, paying your mobile phone bill, or even booking your next holiday.
Bottom line: The key to maximizing cashback is to layer multiple strategies. Use Cashback Compare to find the best rates, then combine with gift cards, debit card rewards, receipt scanning, and loyalty programs for maximum savings.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are the cashback rates shown?

I update the cashback rates daily from multiple platforms. However, rates can change throughout the day, so always verify the current rate on the cashback site before making your purchase.

Which cashback site is the best?

There's no single "best" cashback site - different platforms offer better rates for different merchants. That's exactly why I created Cashback Compare - to show you which site has the highest rate for each specific merchant you want to shop with.

Can I use multiple cashback sites for the same purchase?

No, you can only use one cashback site per purchase. However, you can stack cashback with other strategies like gift card purchases, receipt scanning apps, and cashback debit cards.

How often is the data updated?

My automated system pulls new cashback data daily from all major UK cashback platforms to ensure you're seeing the most current offers available.

What if I find a better rate elsewhere?

If you find a higher cashback rate that isn't showing in my comparison tool, please let me know at hello@scrimpr.co.uk. I'm always working to improve the accuracy and coverage of the data.
